Protect Yourself From Scams!

The water ionizer industry has taken the world by storm.  With great success, comes greed and jealousy from other water filtration companies who are experiencing a decrease in sales because people are finally starting to understand the value and benefits in drinking alkaline ionized water.  This article will point 5 of the latest and greatest attempts to scare you and prevent you from realizing the amazing world of alkaline ionized water.  Remember, all good water ionizer companies will offer you a 60 day trial. If you use the 60 day trial,  you will feel the benefits for yourself.  Don’t let anyone take this amazing water away from you.  Read on and then you will know how to protect yourself from the ionizer competitors that are trying to steal your chance at experiencing true magic.

1.) Side Effects Reported –  There is a new company out there that is claiming that there are side effects reported regarding alkaline ionized water created from a water ionizer.  The author on that site goes on to say that water ionizers create artificial alkaline water.  I want to set the record straight.  The only side effects you should expect from a water ionizer are positive ones.  The “research” used by the web site in question is from a Japanese scientist named Watanabe T.  Professor Watanabe did these test over 10 years ago when ionizers where using aluminum for plate material.  It is the aluminum that had the negative effect.  Perhaps the most important thing to consider is that Dr. Watanabe’s final conclusion after his continued testing is that alkaline water created from a water ionizer is safe and beneficial.

“Alkaline ionized water (AKW) is used for the purpose of supplementing electrolytes and water lost by perspiration during exercise and for preserving health, because AKW is easily absorbed by the body and is excellent at regulating osmotic pressure in vivo.

Dr. T. Watanabe

Prof. Watanabe Ifao of Watanabe Hospital, Japan has done studies connecting alkaline water with alleviating many different gynecological conditions due to its ability to neutralize toxins. His studies have concluded that when alkaline water was given to individuals with pre-eclamptic toxemia cases, that the beneficial results were staggering. He also said that when alkaline water was given to women during pregnancy, that their children showed above average intelligence and were born with stronger muscles.

Nowadays, all high end water ionizers use platinum and titanium for plate material and they are completely safe and beneficial.  The author that wrote misleading articles is trying to use scare tactics to prevent you from buying a water ionizer.  WHY?  He owns a struggling company that is trying to market a poor excuse for a competitive product.  In fact no non-electric water filter is capable of creating the beneficial water that is created by an electric water ionizer.

2.) Plates – This is one of the easiest places to get confused.  I am going to keep this short, sweet, and logical.  The length and width of the plate matters.  The size is critical because this is the only part of the unit that comes in contact with the water.  The longer the contact, the better the ionization.  Some companies are trying to sell you on thickness of plates. This simply doesn’t matter.  In a rainstorm would you rather have a 1 foot in diameter umbrella that was 5 millimeters thick or a 5 foot in diameter umbrella that was 3 millimeters thick?  Mesh vs. Solid is another topic used to mislead the public.  Simply put, a mesh plate is not like a window screen.  Mesh plates are designed to increase the electrolysis surface area.  This is done by creating holes in the plate to attract electricity.  Most mesh plates are just as strong or stronger than solid plates, but with better conducting properties.  The solid/mesh hybrid is the best plate that we have tested.  While this technology is exclusive to Tyent USA at this point, we expect others to follow suit soon.

3.) Power – This is perhaps the easiest to explain.  More power = More ionization.  Again, many companies are trying to make up strange calculations and analogies to get you to believe that somehow less power is better.  When you think about power in an ionizer, think of a light bulb.  The more power the brighter and with water ionizers, the more power, the better.

4.) Filters – Look for filters that have a long length.  Longer filters allow for more stages of filtration and more types of filtration media.  The water will travel the length of the filters and so the longer the better.  Don’t even consider a single filter unit, because just about every unit out there has dual filters at this point.

5.) Endorsements and Mumbo Jumbo – Do not be swayed by celebrity endorsements.  Rest assured these people are either being given free/discounted equipment, or they are being paid for every unit sold.  By mumbo jumbo, I mean don’t be swayed by useless gadgets like UV lights that are built into some water ionizers.  UV lights kill bacteria, but FYI, the electrolysis process that happens inside the water cell kills bacteria as well, so it is a useless gadget that has no value.  There are many mumbo jumbo gimmicks out there.  Keep an eye out for them and don’t get convinced that something is useful when in fact it is not.

That concludes this week’s Scams to Watch article.  Stay tuned for more in the near future.
